Best not to use this on your cat if they groom excessively. Can be used cautiously. Only a light mist, spread it around with your hands, and then no more than once/week.

I infused lavender flowers and calendula flowers in my witch hazel and I use it as a spray on my dogs. Not only does it make them smell nice and keeps fleas Wow, she’s two years old already away. It also has a calming effect on them. I have a German Shepherd. She is 2 years young.And a toy male Yorkshire terrier who is 11 years old. They are just like my children. And I treat them as such because I love them with all my heart, and I also feed them natural foods like bone broth, homemade chicken soup for the dogs I make my own treats, all natural I gave them some Kiefer, and sometimes only my German Shepherd likes. It is fermented foods like sauerkraut and carrots. She loves them. She gobbled them right down. but Mac my male Yorky he only takes the bone broth and Kiefer and sometimes I add apple cider vinegar to their water. Besides spraying them with that as well and using it as a hair conditioner after I give them a bath. I’m all natural. I wouldn’t do it any other way and it works.❤
I know this is 4 years old but I just noticed flea dirt on my dog and would like to try this. Only thing is, I don’t have lemon essential oil but I do have lemongrass. Would that work as a substitute?

I have read a lot of people's testimonies here with great results. I am going to give it a try.
Currently :
** I have water bowls with drop of Dawn dish soap to drown fleas.
** Flick brand natural flea & tic spray & shampoo (cost adds up)
** Diatomaceous Earth – insect and pest control. Its a talcum like powder sprinkled around pet beds, around my bed frame. (Helps but not completely )
Fleas are INSANELY hard to kill … Been fighting this for months. Harts Flea collar – fleas went to inside edge of her ears. (Suckers are smart as well as annoying.)

I found that cedarwood does work well at detouring fleas.. I used olive oil and cedarwood oil before on dogs and cats (3 drops to one tablespoon olive oil).. I was wondering if the mix you used would be good/safe for 2 week old kittens or does it need less essential oil?

Hello Dr. Jones, I am currently located in Europe & was only able to obtain witch hazel as a "100% Essential Oil" on short notice.
Please, how do you recommend diluting this witch hazel properly, so I can use it as an ingredient in your homemade tick spray to add in 4 tbsp? What do you think – can I just dilute it with distilled water?

I live in Estepona Spain and Rupert my Cavachon has had the worst yeast infection in one ear taken 3 vets none could sort it. He is now on a brand new injection but l havec3cadorablwcrescuecdogs and its costing a fortune. So your advice for the yeast is great and the tick and flea spray.
